Last week :) and new colors

Yep, the idea was to work with alcohol inks last week. However, sometimes life decides to change the plans.

I tried some tuto's, but they didn't result in something worthwhile showing. My pieces don't look like the final projects in the tuto's although i followed them to the letter.

Maybe i was still to tired after the amazing weekend at lezartgil in France. A weekend full of new techniques, meeting friends and meeting new people.

I'll have an other shot at the alcohol inks tuto's later on.

So what i did i do then? When in doubt, create colors.

I have to admit, i'm addicted to color. Life is already grey and beige enough. Some say they are calming, but for me, there is nothing so relaxing as creating colors.

Not only was the weekend in France amazing, it also used up a lot of my favorite colors. So i went on making new ones.

Here is a part of all the colors i made past days

And reference-chips are ready to bake, each color with different derivatives. The small chips are going on a recipe-card so that i can replicate the color if needed

This week : use the colors to create skinner blends with the "lazy" techinque published on parole de pâte

tu me fais trop rire Elke, depuis le temps que je patouille, je n'ai toujours pas fait de carte couleurs, et toi tu nous en ponds des quantités astronomiques.... lol

va me falloir au moins 10 ans pour te rattraper, cela dit, il faudrait que je m'y mette aussi... lol

en plus cette palette de couleur est très jolie, comme toutes celles que j'ai vu dans tes boites lors des JAFA (en mode jalouse...lol)
